Roger graduated from the University of Maine with
a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a concentration in
accounting. While at college, he worked as a research assistant for an
accounting professor, and also tutored students in Principles of
Accounting I and II. He was a member of the Financial Management
Association and President of the Accounting Club.
Roger is currently the principal in charge of our
commercial department. He serves primarily commercial clients in a wide
variety of industries, including reviewed or audited financial
statements, tax compliance and planning and other consulting services.
He is also actively involved with the preparation of tax returns for
individuals. He is responsible for the firm’s commercial department
budget as well as the scheduling of engagements.
Roger’s experience at RKO has included the audits
of various municipalities. He has supervised the audit engagements for
MSAD #11 and MSAD #58, the Towns of Gorham, Windham, Millinocket, and
Winslow and the Cities of Bangor, Portland and Saco.

Roger is also in charge of recruiting for the firm. This includes
placing advertisements, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews and
actively recruiting on various Maine campuses each year.
Most of his time outside the firm is spent raising
his two children which includes coaching T-Ball and soccer.
